Lawrence Nelson Klipfer Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lawrence Nelson Klipfer (Augusta, Michigan), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 31, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Nelson Klipfer and Dorothy Klipfer (Burnham); his son James "Jim" Klipfer; his parents-in-law, Jeanette and James Chapman; and his nephew Jeremy Thompke.

He is survived by: his wife Jackie; his son John Klipfer (Christine); his sisters-in-law, Ginny Thompke (Jim) and Cindy Peterson; his grandchildren, Micayla Torres (Ethan), Ethan Klipfer (Madaline), Brenna Klipfer and Leah Klipfer; his great grandchildren, Julian Torres, Zinnia Torres and Josephine "Josie" Klipfer; and his nephew Justin Thompke. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Humane Society of South Central Michigan.
