He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Stern and Donna Stern (Lash); and his sister Lori Sensenig. He is survived by: his siblings, Patricia Matta (David), Chris Stern and Terri Orban; his siblings' children, Melissa Matta, Jason Matta (Yvette), Matt Chicoineau, Ryan Sensenig (Lindsay), Tori Platte (Derek) and Zach Orban (Hunter); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Rylie, Tyler, Addison, Braedyn, Sierra, Kirra, Islea, Josie, Cam, Harlyn, Grayson and Remi.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the MacAlpine Funeral Home (302 N Hanselman St, Bad Axe, MI 48413). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
