With solemn reverence, we commemorate Edgar D. Shepherd of Bad Axe, Michigan, whose life came to an end on June 9, 2025 at the age of 78, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, George and Lydia Shepherd; his parent Gladys Marie Carson; and his siblings, Leland Shepherd, Mary Ellen Shepherd, Wanda Otis, Mildred Ropp and Beverly Laceski.
He is survived by: his wife Ida Shepherd of Bad Axe; his children, Jenifer Larson (Michael) and Jeffrey Shepherd (Carol) of Sandusky; his grandchildren, Matthew Larson (Paige) of Dafter and Brianna Larson; his great grandchild Connie Larson of Dafter; and his siblings, Orlen Shepherd (Barbara), Keith Shepherd (Diane), Elsie Craig (Robert), Travadon Schave (Oscar), Terry Reinke, Arlene Vahorick (Tim), Rhonda Krug, Renee VanOrden, Dan Carson (Stephanie) and Don Carson. He is also survived by several step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Champagne Funeral Chapel (7356 Michigan Ave, Pigeon, MI 48755). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
