It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Anne Badgley of Bad Axe, Michigan, who passed away on October 4, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Overton and Bessie Overton (Drummond); her husband Robert; and her sister Prudence Pugh (Robert Pugh). She is survived by: her children, Karen Sue, David Robert, Judith Ann and Laura Jean O'Brien (Patrick); her grandchildren, Betsie Olson, Samantha Olson, Edward O'Brien (Lacey) and Jeffrey O'Brien; and her great grandchildren, Audrey Parks, Theodore Parks and Livian Olson. She is also survived by her children and "grandma".
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the MacAlpine Mac Chapel (302 N Hanselman St, Bad Axe, MI 48413). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be offered in Betty's name to the Thumb Animal Shelter in Elkton.
