He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Grifka (Parrish); his children, Perry Grifka (Michelle) of Grand Rapids, Dale Grifka (Lisa) of Bad Axe, Kerry Grifka (Sheila) of Ubly, Lori Hart (David) of Allendale and Lynette Unruh (Steve) of Oxford; his grandchildren, Allison Aardema (Scott), David Grifka, Emily Grifka of Grand Rapids, Kiefer Thies (Isabella) of Pigeon, Kilian Thies (Katie Ozorowicz) of Kingston, Adam Grifka of Sault Ste, Marie, Alex Grifka of Anchorage, Andrea Grifka of Mount Pleasant, Shaun and Ryan Hart of Allendale; his children, Claire, Courtney and Carter Unruh of Oxford, MI; his great grandchildren, Theodore, Eleanor Aardema of Grand Rapids, Dawson Ozorowicz of Kingston and Lance Thies of Pigeon; and his siblings, Elaine Feige of Romeo, Virgil Grifka of Capac and Duane Grifka (Connie) of Bad Axe.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Hubert Parish/Sacred Heart Catholic Church (311 Whitelam St, Bad Axe, MI 48413). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at the Sacred Heart Cemetery.
