It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mathilda Particka (Bad Axe, Michigan), who passed away on February 6, 2026, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Buchkowski and Mary Buchkowski (Kulish); and her siblings, Aloizy Buchkowski, Joseph Buchkowski, Isabelle Swartz, Sophia Susalla, Albina Maurer, Gertrude Susalla-Messing, Emma Fisher, Bernice Ignash, Josephine Miller, Theresa Glaza and Marie Krozek.

She is survived by: her children, Gerald Particka (Nancy) of Chesaning, Eugene Particka of Filion, Daniel Particka (Cheryl) of Flushing, Brian Particka (Brenda) of Filion, Carolyn Guza (Duane) of Harbor Beach, Rita (Dennis Sweeney) and Nancy Potestivo (Jim) of Brownstown. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, several step grandchildren and step great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
