He was predeceased by : his parents, Thomas E. Cowles and Annie Cowles (Pletch); and his sister Sally Johnson. He is survived by : his wife Kathy (Clark); his daughter Michelle Cowles Hughes (Jim); his grandchildren, Whit, Preston and Annika; and his brother-in-law James Johnson. He is also survived by niece and nephews.
