He was predeceased by: his parents, Beulah McDonnell and John McDonnell; his former wife Noreen McVey; his children, Amy N. McDonnell and Judson G. McDonnell; his siblings, John L. McDonnell and Mary Riordan of Indianapolis; and his siblings-in-law, Robert McVey Jr., Richard Riordan and Patricia McDonnell.
He is survived by: his son Terence McDonnell (T. J.); his wife Yun; his daughter Elsie; and his sister-in-law Carolyn McVey of Bad Axe. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
