He was predeceased by : his parents, Dr. Bernard and Beverly Gahagan (Smith); his siblings, Joseph, Matthew, Shaun Gahagan and Maureen Giffen; and his nephew Michael Anderson.

He is survived by : his sisters, Lauretta Gahagan of Bad Axe and Kathleen "Buffie" Anderson (Dave) of Fenton; and his nephew Sean Anderson (Rena Blunt).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be offered to the Bad Axe Public Schools (in memo: musical, band or choir) 200 N. Barrie Rd. Suite 100; Bad Axe, MI 48413.
