She was predeceased by : her father Carl Witt; and her brothers, Herbert Witt (Hope Sarah) and Earl Witt (Alma). She is survived by : her daughters, Patricia Hofmann (Larry) of Sandpoint and Claudia Trowhill (Richard) of Bad Axe; her grandson Matthew Hofmann (Lisha); and her great grandchildren, Kaiya Hofmann and Rowan Hofmann. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be offered in her name to the American Cancer Research Fund.
