He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Millett and Suzanne Millett (Buitendyk). He is survived by: his wife Carol Millett (Smith); his children, Jim Millett (Ann) and Kelli Ashbaugh (Chuck); his grandchildren, Joseph Millett (Elayne) of Bailey, Collin Millett of Bailey, Julie Ashbaugh of Bailey and Luke Ashbaugh of Bailey; and his sister Carol Elliott of North Muskegon.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 15th 2026 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Fields-McKinley Funeral and Cremation Services Grant Chapel (45 E Main St, Grant, MI 49327). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions in Joe's honor may be made to Harbor Hospice, 1050 W. Western Avenue, Suite 400, Muskegon, MI 49441, which provided compassionate care during his final year of life.
