He was predeceased by: his parents, Ross Nelson and Alta Nelson; his brother Arnold Nelson; his in-laws, Merrill and Alverne Eady; and his granddaughter Marissa Meyers.
He is survived by: his wife Betty (Eady); his children, Roger of Wixom and Karen Meyers (Tory) of Portland; his grandsons, Blake and Trent Meyers; his pet Maizey; and his brother-in-law Carl Eady (Sandy) of Grant. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces & nephews.
Memorial donations can be made to the First Congregational Church of Portland.
