She was predeceased by: her father William Bigelow; her husband Charles Stephen Shier; her mother Grace Leora Bigelow (Walker); her grandson Noel Shier; her daughter-in-law Jackie Shier; and her siblings, Carolyn Sue Barney and Davis James Bigelow.
She is survived by: her children, Charles William Shier, Sue Jane Pettus (Jerry), Michael Stephen Shier (Francie) and Edward Stephen Shier (Janice). She is also survived by eight grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
