She was predeceased by: her parents, William Moans and Anna Moans (O'Toole); her husband Earl Whaley; her son Thomas Whaley; her grandson Brandon Whaley; her daughter-in-law Jeannie Whaley; and her siblings, Mary Mapes, Lucille Spitzley and William Moans.
She is survived by: her children, Glen Whaley (Joy), James Whaley (Shelley), Mark Whaley (Loraine), Diane Weller (Randy) and Keith Whaley (Jennifer); and her daughter-in-law Sue Stewart (Dan). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Nelson-House Funeral Home (120 E Mason St, Owosso, MI 48867). A rosary was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (915 E Oliver St, Owosso, MI 48867).
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church or the American Diabetes Association.
