He is survived by: his wife Denise Laakko of Mass City; his children, Adam Laakko (Stacey) of Nunica, MI, Anna Abdo of Marquette, MI, Allison Laakko (Josh Malerman) of Franklin, MI and Andrew Abdo of Marquette, MI; his grandchildren, Andres Abdo, Alessandra Abdo, Chase Laakko and London Laakko; his siblings, John Laakko (Annie) and Sara Hermanson (James) of Birmingham, MI; his sister-in-law Laura Fredrickson; and his in-laws, Dave, Dan Fredrickson and Russ Harry. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
