He is survived by: his wife Ethel Vizina; his children, Gary Vizina (Toni) of L'Anse, Amy Turriff of L'Anse, Michelle Yon (Mike) of Wakefield, Dean Velmer (Michele) of L'Anse and Bruce Velmer (Christie) of Negaunee; his sister Helen Clisch of Crystal Falls; and his sisters-in-law, Karen Vizina of Baraga, Delores Vizina of Minnesota and Kathy Vizina of Higgins Lake. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
