She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Ellis and Virginia Ellis (Nicholson); her boyfriend Earl Beamish; her husband Palmer; her siblings, James, Ruth and Norm; and her daughter-in-law Aileen Gardner.
She is survived by: her children, Mike Gardner of Murphy, Larry Gardner of Marion, Michele Gordon of Sault Ste, William Gregg (Carolyn) of Pickford, Cathy Rye of Dafter and Kim Hopkins (Verne) of Dafter; her grandchildren, Jennifer Walker, Matthew Gardner, Jeremy Gardner, Heather Waters, Daniel Gordon, Amber Germain, Jennifer Gregg, Heather Wech, Marie Gregg, Joyce Corbiere, Jolene Lafata, Randi Huyck, Ryan Hopkins and Jakob Hopkins; her sister Carol Lewandowski; her sister-in-law Wilma Brown (Ted); and her close friend Debbie Laitinen. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
