She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Arthur and Marie Lillian Potvin (Neault); and her brothers, Jack, Joe, Jim and George Potvin.

She is survived by: her husband Ken; her children, John Viau (Kaelyn), Joe Viau (Emily) and Danielle LeBoeuf (Kevin); her grandchildren, Dustin, Alyssa, Eric, Katie Viau, Mikaela Jefferson, Laura McKenna, Brendan (Caitlyn), Allen (Brianna), Anna LeBoeuf, Sam and Nick Dwyer (Beth); and her great grandchildren, Onyx, Ava and Bradley. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to the BRH "Margaret Memorial Fund" to be created soon.
