She was predeceased by: her parents, John Picard and Marie Picard (Anderson); and her siblings, Jack, Pete, Joe and Jerry Picard.
She is survived by: her husband Harlan LaPalm of Bark River, MI; her children, David LaPalm (Pam) of Fort Wayne, IN, Connie Valencic (James) of Carney, MI and Michael LaPalm (Mary) of Munising, MI; and her sister Donna Tourangeau of Escanaba. She is also survived by four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Crawford Funeral Chapel - Bark River (1236 Old U. S. 2, Bark River, MI 49807). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
