The memory of Carol Elsie Jakubs of Baroda, Michigan, who passed away on December 1, 2025 at the age of 88, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Steinke and Eleanor Steinke (Leitz); her grandson David Price; her brother Fred Steinke; her sister-in-law Sally Steinke; and her niece Rhonda Steinke.
She is survived by: her children, Janet Price (Karl) of Baroda, John Jakubs (Paula) of Berrien Springs, James Jakubs (Melissa) of Baroda and Jerrold Jakubs (Lucinda) of Baroda; her brother Don Steinke; and her sister-in-law Nadine Steinke. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Starks & Menchinger Chapel (2650 Niles Rd, St Joseph, MI 49085). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church (2673 W John Beers Rd, Stevensville, MI 49127).
