He was predeceased by: his parents, John Higgins and Lillian Higgins (Holsapple); his children, Angela Kenny and John A. Higgins II; and his sister Cloura Goodrow.
He is survived by: his wife Janette Crouch; his son-in-law John T. Kenny; his grandchildren, Jonathan Kenny (Lauren), Conner Kenny and Riley Kenny; his great grandchild Liam Kenny; and his siblings, Melba Hocutt, Jim Higgins, Gail Sears, Kathryn Purtha and Pat Gnodtke.
