She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Mandel and Clara Mandel (Faistel); and her husband Arnold "Arnie" Nitz. She is survived by: her children, Cathy Bonnett (Rick), Jeff Nitz and Alan Nitz (Julie); her grandchildren, Christy Nitz, Adam Nitz, Josh Nitz (Darcey) and Amanda Grandstaff (Anthony); and her great grandchildren, Otto Nitz and Aiden Nitz.

Memorial may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Stevensville.
