Virginia Francis Nitz Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Virginia Francis Nitz of Baroda, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 12, 2026 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Baker and Hixie Baker (Shanks); and her siblings, Bud, Bill Baker, Katherine Ball, Mae Hickman, Myerl Carrington, Faye Benson and Yvonne Radosevich.
She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Nitz; her children, Michelle Snodgrass (Brian), Dana Nitz (Robbie Craig), Charlene Maloney (Rick), Steven Nitz (Josefina) and Cheryl Miller (Monte); and her siblings, Carolyn Rath (Ed) and Danny Baker. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 22nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John's Lutheran Church (9193 Cleveland Ave, Baroda, MI 49101). A memorial service was held on Thursday, January 22nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Johns Lutheran Church (9193 Cleveland Ave, Baroda, MI 49101).
