He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmett Morris and Laura Morris (Searfoss); his wife Linda Morris (Brown); his daughter Malissa Wells; and his brother Marvin Morris.

He is survived by: his children, Karyn Morris, Gary Morris and Robert Morris (Lori); his grandson Josh Morris (Tanya); his great grandchildren, Isaac and Amelia; and his brothers, Reverend Ralph Morris (Pat) and Richard Morris (Mary). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions can be made in Dean's name to Heartland Hospice of Mt. Pleasant.
