She was predeceased by: her parents, William VanHaaften and Harmenia VanHaaften (Nuyen); her husband Clayton Armstrong; her siblings, Charles VanHaaften Sr. and Lena; her grandson Russell Armstrong; and her great grandchild Eliza Hector.
She is survived by: her children, Sandra Stafford (David), Bonnie Hunter (Ken), Terri Robinson and Allan Armstrong (Shannon); and her sister Judy Reed (John). She is also survived by eight grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
