She is survived by: her children, Julie Bekele, Tanisha Jackson, James "Danny" Nance (Ana) and Eric Cooney (Tehanne); her stepson Glen Fisher; and her grandchildren, Matthew Nance, Tanya Langley (Dom), Daniel Nance (Alyssa), Alyssa Nance, Lishane Bekele, Malik Bekele (Sarah), Quentin Bekele, Ava Cooney, Addison Cooney, Brailon Jackson, Rudy Brown Jr., Khiler Jackson, Sasha'Rae Fisher, Jamir Fisher and Javon Jimenez. She is also survived by 6 Great Grandchildren.
