He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Phillips and Myrtle Ceola Presley (Presley). He is survived by: his daughter Heather Phillips (Stephen Hadley) of Homer, MI; his adoptive daughter Sonya Beardsley; and his grandchildren, Patricia Phillips, LaBrisha Ann Porter, James Broughton (Dauja), Kimmy Beardsley and Shaundell D. Porter, Jr. of Battle Creek, MI. He is also survived by 14 Great-grandchildren.
