He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Ray and Letha Grace Gillett (Conklin); and his brothers, Kenny, Howard and Allen Gillett.
He is survived by: his wife Jeree Lyn Caryl; his children, Michael Gillett (Trecia) of Battle Creek, Ricky Gillett (Sue) of Battle Creek, Kevin Gillett (Patti) of Moncks Corner, SC and Lisa Kay Gillett of Battle Creek; his stepchildren, Todd Wilson (Kathy) of Battle Creek and Marcal Probst (Jim) of Carmel, IN; and his sister Nancy Gillett of Kalamazoo. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
