With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bernice Woods of Battle Creek, Michigan, born in Bellevue, Michigan, who passed away on September 1, 2021 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Lennon and Zelma Lennon (Pierce); her husband Jack W. Woods Sr.; and her siblings, Wayne Lennon, Margaret Price and Doris Samulak.

She is survived by: her children, Jack Woods Jr. of East Leroy, MI., Sheryl Broderick of Battle Creek, Dianne Potter of Lawton, MI. and Kimberly Menzies of Fort Smith, AR.. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.

“My heart sank when I heard the sad news that this beautiful lady had passed. She was the bright light in the room, always smiling & cheerful. I cannot remember a time when we didn’t have her in our lives as children, our parents being so tight with them that they built their house next door. God has welcomed her home. Our loss here. Though I haven’t seen her in years, I often thought of her in the past. Sherry & I offer our heartfelt condolences to our friends, her family & loved ones.”
