She was predeceased by: her parents, Christopher Edwards and Alice Edwards (Asquith); her husband Robert G. "Bob" Grimes; her brother Dale Edwards; and her brother-in-law Guy Barber.
She is survived by: her sons, Scott Grimes (Kelly) of Grand Haven, Steven Grimes (Carmen) of Battle Creek and Darryl Grimes (Melissa) of Wayland, MI.; her grandchildren, Tyler, Carly, Jake, Connor, Brennan and Karson; her stepgrandchildren, Savannah and Trey Rose; and her sisters-in-law, Janet Barber and Judy Edwards.
