He was predeceased by: his parents, Morton Hawkins and Barbara Hawkins. He is survived by: his children, Anthony Hawkins, Depree Hawkins, Julia Hawkins, Debrea Micklatcher and Barbara Hawkins-Bevels; his girlfriend Danielle Bevel; and his siblings, Maurice Pointer and Julia Taylor of Battle Creek.
