She was predeceased by: her husbands, Col Robert Ruby and Col Howard Strand; her son Carl Ruby; and her grandchildren, Sonya Boar and Keith Mills.
She is survived by: her children, William Ruby (Mary) and Carol Langley (Bradford); and her grandchildren, Jodie Ruby, Joe Ruby, Erica Chapman, Hannah Langley and Darrin Mills. She is also survived by several great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
