Charles Gene Evans Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Gene Evans of Battle Creek, Michigan, who passed away on October 27, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Charles may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Charles touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Gene Evans and Barbara Jean Evans (Van Ootegham); and his sister Sandra. He is survived by: his sons, Christopher Evans (Terri), Chad Evans (Manda), Keith Evans, Kurt Evans (Tina) and Donald Evans (Amy); and his siblings, Jeff, Greg and Susan. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Victory Life Church (6892 D Dr N, Battle Creek, MI 49014). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
