She was predeceased by: her husband Dale Coffman; her parents, LeRoy Smith and L'Veta Smith (Ovenshire); her daughter Teresa Slight; her brother Louis; and her grandson Nicholas Coffman.
She is survived by: her sons, Ronald Nelson (Patty), Carl Coffman (Rhonda), Edward Corkins and Larry Corkins (Dana); her stepchildren, Chris Ellass (Dale), Laura Dennis and Dale Coffman; and her siblings, Mavis Hudson and Ira Smith. She is also survived by the many family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Richard A Henry Funeral Home (703 Capital Ave SW, Battle Creek, MI 49015). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
