He is survived by: his children, Dianna Shafer (Bob) of Lake Forest, CA, David Rose (Cheryl) of East Leroy, MI and Randy Rose (Karen) of Traverse City, MI.; his grandchildren, Jason Rose (Shannon) of East Leroy, Kelli Thompson of Climax, Curtis Rose (Daley) of New York, Scott Shafer (Christy) of Nebraska and Melissa Shafer of Arizona; his great grandchildren, Robert Thompson of Battle Creek, Nathan Thompson of Battle Creek, Christopher Rose of Battle Creek, Caitlin Rose of Battle Creek, Zia, Simona Shafer of Nebraska and Hailey Shafer of Arizona; his cousin Butch Smith of Battle Creek; his stepbrother Mike Rose; and his friends, Bob, Alice Berger, Joe Payjak, Ernie, Sue Hamilton, Mary Hart, Evelyn Bradfield and Judy Lemon (Clara). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
