He was predeceased by: his parents, Ella Belle Smith and Lon Thomas Penny. He is survived by: his children, David Penny (Kim Reagle), Starla Houff (Greg) and Troy Penny (Jan Cline); his grandchildren, Ryan Penny (Kelly), Keagan O'Brien (Jenny), Alex Penny and Christina Spadaro; and his great grandchildren, Chanler, Lynnley, Grady and Rylynn.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Memorial Park Cemetery (2435 W Territorial Rd, Battle Creek, MI 49015).
Memorial donations may be made to the Calhoun County Red White and Blue Foundation.
