He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence E. Stratton and Esther L. Stratton (Monroe); and his brothers, Harold and Ronald Stratton. He is survived by: his children, Douglas Stratton (Kaoru), Renata Shore (Steve) and Dennis Stratton (Sue); and his grandchildren, Jamie Stratton Hsiao (Eric), Bryan Stratton (Amanda), Benjamin Stratton (Andrea), Victoria Shore, Jacob Stratton and Dominique Shore. He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren; nieces and nephew.
When they needed help at Mel's Barber Shop, Dale stepped up and cut hair through the pandemic, finally "retiring" again at the end of 2020 when a new full-time barber arrived.
