He is survived by: his wife Lorri; his children, Danielle C. Doty (James) and Jared Paul Heddinger (Emily Roberts); his sister Denise VanSickle; and his nephew Michael VanSickle (Sarah).
The military honors will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the Fort Custer (2501 26th St, Augusta, MI 49012). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the St. Philip Parish Center (94 Capital Ave NE, Battle Creek, MI 49017).
