He was predeceased by: his siblings, Ernestine "June" Horton, Mary Jo, Richard "Box", Fred, Robin, Charles "Bean" and Michael Broomfield; his parents, Johnie Broomfield and Ora B. Warfield; his Pops Edward Warfield; and his grandson David A. D. Broomfield.
He is survived by: his children, Felicia, David Broomfield of Battle Creek, Michigan, Danielle Harrington of Grand Rapids, Michigan. and Lateeka Morris; his siblings, Arnold, Andrew Williams, Vickie and Johnie Broomfield; and his grandchildren, Cierra, Rashawn, Ladaisa and Davion. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren and a host of nephew, nieces.
