With profound sadness, we say goodbye to David Lee Conklin Sr. of Battle Creek, Michigan, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Conklin and Mabel Conklin; his brother Kerry Conklin; and his sister-in-law Zadie Conklin. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Conklin; his children, David Conklin Jr., Charlie Conklin (Lynette), Cindy Bush (Bob), Joe Conklin (Heather) and Christina Vanderweele (Mike); his siblings, Mary York and Thomas Conklin; and his sister-in-law Kathleen Conklin. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at 10:20 AM, from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM and on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 9:30 AM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Bachman Hebble Funeral Service (223 Bedford Rd N, Battle Creek, MI 49037). A graveside service was held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Fort Custer National Cemetery (15501 W Dickman Rd, Augusta, MI 49012).
