With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David L. Michielsen of Battle Creek, Michigan, who passed away on November 17, 2025 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Michielsen and Mary Michielsen (March). He is survived by: his wife Carol Hite; his children, Scott Michielsen (Karen) and Sheila Ellerby (Benjamin); his grandchildren, Travis Michielsen (Kirstin), Seth Michielsen, Jade Michielsen and Olivia Ellerby; and his great grandchild Isaleigha Michielsen.
