David Smith Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on May 11, 2020, David Smith (Battle Creek, Michigan) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Joseph S. Smith and Elizabeth I. Smith (Toombs); and his sister Nancy Malone (Sam). He is survived by: his wife Samolea F. Smith (Sanford); his children, Vincent E. Smith (Mary), David K. Smith (Margie) and Elizabeth J. Turner (David M.); his brother Rev. J. Kincaid Smith (Carolyn) of Minnesota; and his grandchildren, Necia, Nathan, Nicole, Brody, Max and Sam.

Donations may be made to SPCA of Southwest Michigan or local animal shelters in his honor.
