She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Armstrong and Mary Armstrong (Sampson); her son Jaison Armstrong; and her siblings, Gladys Smith, Joe Armstrong, Jim Armstrong and Al Armstrong.
She is survived by: her husband Carl Richardson; her children, Daiquiri Smith, Mahogany Wilson, Leo Smith III and Michael Smith; her grandchildren, Kenneth Jackman III, Kimberly Jackman, Jaison Armstrong Jr., Tajanique Smith, Natayzia Smith, Tamara Smith, Jaleeha, Zariah, Lakayah, Leo IV, Mianjel, Ajaidia Smith, Amirrah Smith, Michael Slick-Smith Jr., Dereka Slick-Smith and ILeoni Slick; her great grandchild Miguel Cruz; her sister Connie Williams; and her nieces, Jessica Smith and Crystal Smith.
