He was predeceased by: his parents, Delbert Sweet and Bessie Sweet (Hine); and his uncle Harold Hine. He is survived by: his wife Diane Kikstadt; his daughter Diane Sweet of Battle Creek; and his grandchildren, Suzan Cramutolo (Tom) of Battle Creek, Sylvia Sweet and Steven Sweet (Marion) of South Haven. He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.
