He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Edwin and Janet Beatty (Sanford); his former wife Karen Rowe Brookmyer; and his niece-in-law Becky. He is survived by: his children, Robert Sandford Beatty of Hastings and Kimberly Hall of Battle Creek; his grandchildren, Jacob Hall and Jennifer Hall; his sister Barbara Bell (Larry) of Hastings; and his nephews, Craig Bell (Sherri) and Thad Bell.
