Dennis Henry Tulk Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dennis Henry Tulk of Battle Creek, Michigan, born in Oberlin, Ohio, who passed away on September 17, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Tulk and Dorothea Hyatt (Parnell); his brothers, Donald, Douglas and Darryl Tulk; his stepmother Gwendolyn Tulk; and his stepbrother Charles Fulbright.

He is survived by: his wife Barbara J. Ball; his children, Denise Chesser (Steven) of Tucson, AZ, Roger Tulk (Susan) of Charleston, SC, Elizabeth Berry (Michael) of Columbus, OH, Barry Tulk (Shefalee) of St. Louis, MO, Elaine Vonk (Kirk) of Battle Creek, MI and James Tulk (Laura) of Battle Creek, MI; his adoptive daughter Kim Yarger (Chuck); his grandchildren, Kara Chesser (Jed), Ian Chesser (Stephanie), Christopher Tulk (Lena), Jessica Tulk, Stephanie Jesso (Michael), Aarushi Tulk, Aanshil Tulk, Brittany Talamantez, Alysia Timm (Adam), Jesse Talamantez, Kelsey Vonk (Kyle Brown), Derek Smith, Bailey Hartgrove (Austin) and Riley Tulk (Cydney); and his half-brother James Tulk (Amy) of Long Beach, CA.. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
