He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Seivert and Laurena Seivert (Voss); his wife Linda; and his siblings, Wilma Seivert, Betty Marsh, Phyllis Neubert, Arlene Swaney, Alverna Head, Beverly Smith and George Seivert.

He is survived by: his niece Sparky; and his son Denny Paul Seivert (Sean Burke). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorial contributions in Dennis' memory may be made to Compasses Hospice, American Diabetes Association or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
