He is survived by: his wife Janet Marie Akers; his siblings, Keith Cole Jr. (Mary) and Denise Mosher (Ron); his siblings-in-law, Thomas Akers (Elizabeth) and Lidia Akers; his nieces and nephews, Nicholas Cole, Zach Wiegand, John Akers, Joe Akers, Jean Uphold, Juanita Akers and Jennifer Akers; and his close friends, Don, Ardis Vandenboss, Bob and Anne Prevost.
Due to the Covid pandemic, cremation has taken place.
