He was predeceased by: his parents, George DeGroot and Neva DeGroot (Deane Elizabeth). He is survived by: his spouse Deane Reynolds; his daughters, Mary Lanenga (Russ), Victoria Ludema (Gary) and Patricia DeGroot; his sister Esther; and his half-brother George. He is also survived by his children and grandchildren.
The family kindly requests donations be made to either the Van Andel Institute or ProMedica Hospice Southwest Michigan in honor of Don's lifelong dedication to volunteerism and service.
