He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Lee and Hiram Madden; his wife Carol Garrison; and his son Doug. He is survived by: his children, Kellie Thomas (Kevin) and David Madden (Jamie); his grandchildren, Kortnie Fonner (John), Kiersten Dembski (Zach), Kelsey Thomas (Kassie), MyKala Lovera (Marcos) and Myia Madden; his great grandchildren, Keri, Hayden, Andi, Penelope, David and Waylon; and his brother Jim Madden (Kris).
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 21st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service (375 W Dickman Rd, Battle Creek, MI 49037). A funeral service was held on Thursday, August 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Battle Creek VA, CLC Recreation Fund in honor of Donald.
